Dr. Barbara Taylor-Cox became our pediatrician upon our daughter’s birth in 2001. In that time, she has become a part of our family. There is no one we trust more with our daughters’ care than Dr. Taylor-Cox. She is knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. When she is with a patient, her focus is on that patient, even making you feel like you are her only patient! She consistently goes the extra mile, making excellent recommendations when a referral is needed and then following up with care she has provided. I strongly feel that Dr. Barbara Taylor-Cox is the ideal of a pediatrician. She genuinely cares and makes an investment in the health and well-being of her patients, teaching children how to become advocates for their own health by transitioning at the appropriate time to ask the child to share answers to questions. If you are looking for a pediatrician, you could not do better!

Dr. Taylor-Cox has cared for my five children for the last 19 years. She has guided us through the little things like ear infections and broken bones; and she has helped us get through some very big, scary things, including a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. Through it all, her expertise in her field along with her gentle manner has kept the children safe and healthy, and given me confidence as a mother. I hope no one else ever needs her for the big, scary things…but if you do, there is no one better to take care of your child and help you through it. We love her!

Our family has been blessed with the love, care and compassion of Dr. Barbara Taylor-Cox for 22 years now. She is an excellent physician with a heart of gold! We first met her when our son was critically ill and had no definitive diagnosis. She literally wrapped her arms around us and walked us through every step of that challenging journey. During every family crisis and victory, she has been there, as a constant source of wisdom and love. She is our hero and we will forever be grateful for the gift she is to us all.

Dr. Barbara is truly a gem! She has provided excellent care for our daughter Kendall for the past 22 years. We trust her with Kendall just as if she was one of the family.
